David Bartlett Park 

What is it? 

David Bartlett Park is a large park, approximately 35 acres in size, located at the north end of the Long Island in Manotick. The Rideau River contours the east side of the Park. This park was originally purchased by the former Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton 

Where is it? 

 

The Park is located at the north end of Long Island, in the Village of  Manotick. 

Progress

In late 2017, Councillor Scott Moffatt created a special committee to review the various conflicts amongst David Bartlett park users specifically off-leash dog users and the general park users. This process is ongoing.  Noel Norenius and Rod Corbett currently represent MCPRA on this Committee.
