Chic Time in the ‘Tick is an annual fundraising event that raises money to better the Manotick community. This is an event for women by women and will be held on May 23, 2025. 300 women will come together in the Manotick Curling Club to dine and dance the night away while bidding on amazing silent and live auction items.

From 2017 to 2019, this event raised over $65,000.00 for the Mahogany Dock project. Unfortunately, the event had been on hold for three years due to the pandemic and we were excited to launch the event once more in 2024 to raise funds to improve access to the river throughout the Manotick community. Did you know that there are several access points for launching kayaks and swimming? At this time, these locations are difficult to find and some are difficult to navigate making them unsafe. We plan to continue to fundraise to improve visibility and accessibility of the water access points. Click here to read more about the Water Access Initiative project.

Our fundraising goal for 2024 was $20,000.00 and with the generosity of our sponsors and local women we surpassed it! Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 which will be added to our fundraising budget for this project. These funds will be used to leverage grants from all levels of government.
